A Few PC Problems...

Well, I'm beginning to understand why people who use Macs claim that their Macs are so good. PCs easily run into problems, like I'm experiencing right now.
My list of problems:
  • Microsoft Windows XP Pro SP3 freezes on my Dell Inspiron 640m during shut-down. I don't know why this problem happens, my computer is supposed to work only with Windows Vista and WINDOWS XP, but I still experience the shut-down problems. They happen ONLY during the words "Windows is shutting down" appears on the screen, and it makes my head pop off everytime! :-(
  • Because of the problem above, I had to ONCE AGAIN reinstall Windows, to the original operating system when it came out of the factory, Windows Vista Ultimate, but now the icons (or thumbnails, I don't know the difference) of the Documents, Downloads, Music, Photos, Videos, Desktop, Links, Favourites, but not Contacts, folders are not in the default icons. Instead, they look like regular folders. This is driving me bananaaaaaas!!!!!!! :-(
  • Even when the whole computer is idle and not in use, the memory use soared over 50%! The background processes were the usual: Skype, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, Internet Explorer. I really don't know why!

These are some of the many reasons why I am starting to lean over to Mac instead of PC. I used to despise Mac and love PC, but since I'm kind of discovering annoying problems, I'm kind of changing directions now. Now I'm trying to get enough money to buy a Mac (you know how expensive they are), but I'm still waiting for a new MacBook model to come out, a "MacBook Touch", which is just a tablet MacBook. But in terms of compatibility, I might still have to use Windows for some of my favourite apps. But instead of using the beloved Windows XP, or the complete disaster Windows Vista, I'll just wait for the release of Windows 7, and buy that. All those problems that led to Vista's downfall were fixed in Windows 7.

Well, I didn't completely make my decision yet. Please make suggestions by posting a comment! Thanks! ;-)
