It's Vacation Time! (And Chinese New Year!)

I hope you have been having a great time so far! Current events around me:

It's vacation for me! You might think this is strange, but this is because I am in China, and the vacation times here are different. My vacation lasts for more than a month, so I'm really psyched! The main reason for my long vacation could be because of Chinese New Year, which is happening in February. I'm going to celebrate it, so having a long vacation like this really helps. Today is the 3rd, day of vacation, which started from Saturday (right now, it's Sunday.)

There is also Chinese New Year! This year (2009) is the year of the Ox in China, so Ox decorations are everywhere. There are also lanterns and big signs that say "福" on them. Chinese New Year is a big celebration for Chinese people all around the world. Even in Canada, there are celebrations for Chinese New Year! I know that Chinese New Year is always somewhere in February, but I can't exactly pinpoint the date this year. I hope you enjoy Chinese New Year too!
