Yesterday, I had a pretty good time at my friend's house. His name is Tan Tan (that is not his real name, it's just his Chinese nickname, I don't know his real name). I happened to have met him today because his parents are my dad's friends. I haven't seen him since I was about 2 or 3, so it's great meeting him again (I didn't even remember him!). When I went to his house, I didn't feel very well (I kind of got a "stomach cold" in Tianjin), so I wasted a lot of time lying on the couch. Finally, when I felt a bit better, I went to his computer room to watch him play his racing game. He played pretty well, and right in the middle of when I tried to pass the driving test, we had to go to lunch. Jeez.
Well, at least we went to Pizza Hut for lunch!
But my hopes were kind of let down when we got there. Guess what? We had to wait 2 HOURS JUST TO GET IN!!! ^@(*#&@^(*&^%&$|\~!!! Well, at least I got to eat 2 pieces of a cheese-filled super-supreme pizza, a piece of a green tea ice cream cake, a big glass of orange soda, and a ball of vanilla ice cream. What a feast!
After we finished lunch, I had to make a decision. Both choices were pretty tempting. I could go back to my grandma's house and talk with one of my aunts (she is only 21), or I could go to Tan Tan's house and finish my driving test in the game. Well, we got a call from grandma saying that my aunt's been there since around 2pm (it was already 4pm, we didn't even have lunch yet at 2pm), so I hurried back to grandma's house.
Next time I come to Tianjin, I'll go to Tan Tan's house again.
