Yeah, I'm back at school. But what's so bad? Thursday was a Pro-D day (which means no school), so my friend Peter came to my house, and now it's the weekend. Of course, there aren't many Pro-D days, but what can I do? It's pretty good anyways. 4 more months and the school year is over! And you can't believe how short 4 months are.
But currently, that isn't the most important thing on my mind. I got 3 most important things: find out how to download free movies, find out how to fix the Club Penguin log in problem, and wait for Apple to release a touch screen or tablet MacBook.
Firstly:
Movie downloading. I don't think I'll download anything good, legally. All the good movies can't be downloaded, so I'm kind of giving up on that.
Secondly:
The Club Penguin log on problem probably won't be fixed soon. I sent e-mails to Club Penguin, describing the problem to them, and they sent back that Chinese ISPs (Internet Service Providers) might be blocking Club Penguin's ports, or websites, so I might need to phone them to make them unblock. If anyone that also has this problem but fixed it sees this blog post, PLEASE COMMENT! ANY HELP, I REPEAT, ANY HELP, WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!
Thirdly:
The Mac and MacBook are growing in popularity, am I correct? Plus, they are very safe, and have a cool design, too. But I want a tablet PC, and so far, Apple hasn't made a tablet MacBook yet, so I will be waiting for them to make one.
Lastly, goodbye wonderful vacation, I'll miss you!

Dude! White Puffles!
DUDE! WHITE PUFFLES! I can't believe it; last year it was yellow puffles, and this year it's WHITE puffles! Club Penguin has gone PUFFLE CRAZY! Plus, the puffle party is also starting really soon! But I still can't log on. BOOO!!! I got all this info from the Club Penguin Gang, @ www.clubpenguingang.com. They give coin code contests, membership contests, more info than the official Club Penguin blog, and secrets + cheats! So anyways, GO CLUB PENGUIN! YOU GUYS ROCK! YEAH!
So, today is Saturday. More sadder than a usual Saturday, because it is the last Saturday of my winter vacation. BOOOO! But there is a good part: once vacation is over, there's only 3 months left til school ends! COOL! But just like a said last post: neither school nor vacation fits me. Sigh.
Once again, I have defeated the regular game. Yep, with an R4, beating the last stage of New Super Mario Bros. is sooooooo easy!!! I'm hoping to find other good games on the net too. Yeah.
So I'll probably tell you about other things tomorrow, just to keep you reading. Trust me, I got a lot of interesting stories up my sleeve! So for now, BYE!

3 Days to go...
Yeah, sorry about the lack of post yesterday. My laptop couldn't get onto the Internet, so I couldn't post. The problem isn't fixed yet, so today I'm using my dad's super desktop.
Anyone have a solution to not being able to log on to Club Penguin? I mean, it just stays at "Logging in [USERNAME]". I might be able to log on occasionally, but lately, the problem's been worse. I haven't logged on for almost a month! I've sent an e-mail to Club Penguin support five minutes ago, and I hope they come up with an answer. QUICK!!!
So now, my vacation is almost over. I might actually want to go to school, since vacation is so boring right now. But I'm still a bit sad, since I feel that neither vacation nor school fits me. But what can I do? Sigh...
By the way, does anyone know a site where they provide support and walkthroughs and guides for various NDS games? I'm kind of getting stumped on Pokemon Pearl. Any help?
So, that's all for today! Next time, you'll probably hear something special from me! Bye!

Hello Club Penguin!? Wake Up!
Yeah, okay, whatever.
So, Club Penguin has been going beserk lately. I can't even log on...!! But I have to... COZ THE PUFFLE PARTY IS STARTING SOON!!! >:-(
I also need to desperately log on because I got Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force DS Game, and you get special stuff on your real penguin on Club Penguin! And I already did a lot of the missions... what do I get? I DUNNO! Coz I can't log on... Waah. I think it's some problem with the Temporary Internet Files, or cookies, but nothing I do seems to work!
I kind of got tired of just playing CP Elite Force, so I downloaded Pokemon Pearl, New Super Mario Bros., Super Mario 64 DS, Kirby Squeak Squad, The Sims 2, and Simcity Creator. On Simcity Creator, I made a new challenge city, which was supposed to survive from "Dawn of Civilization" to "Global Warming Period". I finally finished "Dawn of Civilization", and it asked me to choose one of two periods; one of them was the European Middle Ages, and one was Chinese. I thought that the Chinese one would be pretty cool, so I chose that one. By now, my population has expanded to over 10 000! Great! If I can get it to 20 000, then I'll go to the next time period.
In Pokemon Pearl, I already have a gym badge. Beating the gym leader in Oreburgh City was soooo easy! Since I picked up a water type pokemon at first (a Piplup), it's extremely easy to defeat rock type, which is the type that the gym leader in Oreburgh City uses. Haha!
Anyways, today is Wednesday. So that means swimming lessons. But not bad! Because the teacher is better, and PLUS, I get to go into the slightly warmer, shorter, OTHER POOL! Yay! So I do not really object to swimming lessons anymore. Not really.
I'm doing better than before, which is great! So I'll talk to you next time (next post)! Waddle away~!

One week till vacation's over
You probably haven't heard from me for a while. That's because the computer ban is continuing. Fortunately, since it's almost the weekend, I was allowed to use the computer today. Yay!
As in the title, there is only about ONE WEEK until vacation's over for me. Boooo!! :-(
Anyway, how is everyone doing? Remember to go to www.clubpenguin.com (the Club Penguin website) and register a penguin, and add me to your buddy list. You don't have to make a new penguin if you already have one. If you're interested in adding me, just send me an e-mail at derekcheng6@yahoo.ca, and tell me.
So, I'm finally going to tear down "The Daily Club Penguin". It's getting hard to manage 2 blogs at a time, so I'll just write the stuff here. Plus, I might change my blog's name to "Dark Spot", since I can't get the new URL to be themonkeylair.blogspot.com. I'll try to get it to be darkspot.blogspot.com or thedarkspot.blogspot.com, and it I can get it right, I'll change my blog's name. I will notify you right before I change it, and just so you know, if you can't get into my blog using the usual address anymore, then try the 2 URLs above.
What's up in Club Penguin right now? I dunno. I can't even log in! This stuff, I'll update you later.
Recently, I've been having a problem with my Wii. I know, I know, there's no such thing legally as Nintendo in China, so I probably won't get any support around here. I can't get on the Internet on the Wii, and I suppose that's a weak signal problem. I can't correct that until I get the router closer to the Wii, and I can't do that because the big desktop in my room can't connect to the cable. WHAT A DILEMNA! My dad's going to get a USB wireless adapter for the big desktop, so hopefully the problem will be fixed soon.
How's your day? Mine is going pretty well. Remember to post comments if you can!

A Par Tay!
Not sure if "Par Tay" is really a word... oh well, who cares?
Anyways, remember about that "Last Day of Chinese New Year" and "Special Party" stuff I talked about in the last post? Well... I did mention that I was going to post again right after the party to talk about it... sorry that I didn't. I had to go to the fireworks show outside, and by the time I got back, it was WAY past my bedtime. Not normal for me on Mondays! So, instead, I'll tell you about it now!
First of all, the first visitor arrived at about... 4 PM, and that really surprised me. I never thought anyone would come so early! I had only just finished my previous entry then. I stayed in my room for maybe 3 hours, just because I had nothing to do. I only came out when all the visitors came. All of them I have met before, just like I expected. But I got the numbers wrong... I thought about ten were going to come, but actually, I misunderstanded. Actually, there were 10 people altogether INCLUDING me and my parents and grandparents.
First, we just watched TV and stuff like that, while my mom was preparing dinner.
When it was finally time for dinner, we saw what delicacies were prepared. There was "Yuan Xiao" (of course!), "Gu Lao" Pork, Spring Rolls, Caesar Salad, Fruit Salad, and many others. But just when I started to indulge, I heard the large bang. I looked out the window... the fireworks show had started! And for 20 minutes, we sat on the couch looking at them, oooing and aaahing, just in the right spot.
After that show, we continued our dinner. My dad and many other people drank some wine, though I don't know which kind. They also drank some beer. I just drank coconut juice the whole time.
Everyone was having a good time, and they talked for a long time. At around 9 PM, everyone said that they were going to go home. They had a good time here.
After they went home, I watched a bit of TV and my dad took me to see fireworks. We were back in 2 hours. It was a great day (or should I say night)!
Next Chinese New Year, you could invite all your Chinese friends to a dinner, too!

Last Day of CNY (I think)
Guess what day is today? The last day of the Chinese New Year celebration! At least I think it is. That's what my mom told me.
I posted other entries about Chinese New Year, right? So if you don't really understand much about it, just look there or search in Google.
Today, I think that our house is going to have many visitors (maybe 10 or 11). All of those visitors are part of my family, on my mom's side, since many of my mom's old relatives moved here a long time ago. It's my second time seeing them, I met them in October (I think). They are probably coming again tonight for dinner because today is the last day of the Chinese New Year celebration, and everyone's coming together to celebrate. Right now it's about... 2:30 PM so there's still a long time left, so I'm looking forward to it (kind of).
There's even a special food eaten today, called "Yuan Xiao". It's just a small ball of a sweet Chinese paste, something like red bean paste or sesame seed paste, covered in sticky rice flour, and then put in soup or deep fried. I really like this food, and we're making it today. Yay! :-) I'm not so sure that you'll like it, though. ;-)
Okay, now, it's... 2:40 PM. I'll update you again when the visitors go home. It'll be weird having so many people here!
Until then... So long!

Banned from Computers
Hi everyone.
Lately, I've been having homework problems, and maybe too much computers. That is why my mom has had several talks with me about controlling myself, and eventually, she banned me from computers. I understand why she did this, and I do not object to it. But I was a bit angry at first, but she said that she would grant me some computer time if I did my homework right. That is exactly the case today. I'm lucky I'm writing this right now, so you might not expect another blog entry in a long time.
Once again, I have endured another swimming lesson. But I'm kind of starting to think that it isn't as bad as I think. The teacher isn't as mean as I thought, the pool isn't as cold as I thought... yeah, you can imagine it. Because I have 2 weeks of swimming lessons left (2 days per week), and I need more than 4, the swimming instructor added one lesson each week on Saturday. That was kind of discouraging for me, but the swimming lessons aren't that bad, as I stated before. That means, tomorrow is Saturday and I will have to go to swimming lessons. Sigh.
Ummm... 2 weeks to go for vacation! YAY! Still better than going to school; everyday on a school day I have a lot of homework to do, and I can't do many other things. I will just try to make time go slower, so I will never stop vacation.
Before, in the last post, I mentioned a broken computer, right? No, it's not completely broken, only the wireless network adapter broke when my dad accidently knocked it off the table. Again, he didn't find a screwdriver to open the back of my computer. I doubt that he can fix it, but what choice do I have? I'll have to wait till sometime in the weekend until we can find a Dell place.

Swimming Lessons... Again
Hi everyone, this is now my 3rd week of vacation. How is everyone doing? My day is usually very boring, because I have nothing to do except to do homework and play with myself. Think of it, sitting in front of the homework/computer table all day, and playing a few video games. What does that sound like? Boooring. So, vacation wasn't as good as I thought.
And, today is Wednesday. What does that mean? Swimmming lessons!! I don't know why I hate them, but I have ever since Canada. I've started to hate them even more here, maybe because the teacher isn't very nice, the water is ice-cold, and I actually have to go into the icy water for a whole HOUR. Can you believe it?! A whole hour!!! I'm okay with just swimming, or splashing in the water like a wild animal, but I certainly don't like swimming lessons. I think that is because lessons aren't fun. Well, there still are two weeks left, so I can't expect them to end soon. I have swimming lessons tomorrow too. Waaaahhhh!!! :-(
At least I still have 2 weaks of vacation left!
Another thing:
Two days ago, my dad was getting up from my computer table, when he accidently stepped on one of the wires. BAAM! My laptop came crashing down to the ground. I got really angry about this, so my dad inspected every corner of my laptop, and he said nothing was wrong. Later, when I started up my laptop again, I discovered that the wireless network adaptor no longer worked properly. Yesterday night, he tried to find a screwdriver to open up the back of my laptop and reinspect it. But he couldn't find one, so I always have to use cables for internet. Arrrgh!!
I'll tell you later when I'm having a good day. For now, bye!
